Eventually, Denver Dream Lab will be a place that serves as the center of the community. By adding park grounds around the main building, DDL would be a massive park and playground with water features, a skateboarding/biking area, play structures that foster creativity and imagination, an outdoor style amphitheater, and a sculpture garden created by children and local artists. It will be a place where families spend time during the day, students spend time after school and parents can go at night to take classes. Classes will be taught in areas like parenting, cooking healthy meals, gardening, the English language, math and writing skills, GED, entrepreneurial skills, and employment searching.
The building will house a free store where people can pick up clothing for their children or for a job interview. DDL will partner with the local grocery stores to get free food for families. The building will have community gardens and a green house to supply healthy, organic meals to the area. There will be a toy library where parents can donate old toys and children can check them out.
Weekend events would include a farmers market, swap meets, plays and musical performances, that can all be enjoyed free, providing families a great activity that is safe and fun.
